Visit Icon Scientific at ADIPEC 2023

Icon Scientific will be at ADIPEC, the world’s largest energy conference, from October 2nd until October 5th. This year, decarbonisation is at the centre of the conversation. The theme, ’decarbonising faster together’, focuses on the strategies, relationships and innovation needed to face today’s climate and energy issues.

Icon has always strived to be revolutionary and to challenge conventions. Our analysers use the best of twenty-first century technology to increase efficiency, flexibility, and reliability. These analysers are already helping refineries to make an impact to their economic bottom line, as well as their environmental one - using fewer resources and producing more accurate results. Our focus is now on developing the analytical products needed for the energy transition. To change our fuels, we need to know our fuels. Measurement and analytics will play a large part: to measure sustainability, ensure environmental compliance, and adapt to new energy sources. Icon’s technology is perfectly placed to contribute to this shift towards a sustainable future.

Those at ADIPEC can find out more about our full analyser range, including the popular Vapour Pressure and Flash Point analysers, and how they are helping to enable the green economy. New energy sources, like biofuels and E-fuels, need analysers that are adaptable to new fuels and new standards. Icon analysers are constantly developing in response to these requirements. Our Vapour Pressure analyser is flexible and adaptable - the only process analyser capable of modern, multi-expansion methods (such as ASTM D6377). That’s just one example of how we keep up with changes in our industry, and are ready for the challenges the energy transition brings.

Attendees at ADIPEC will also be among the first to learn more about our new Hydrogen analyser, which will be officially announced later this year (sign up to our newsletter to be the first to know!). This analyser combines the industry gold standard hydrogen sensor - H2-Scan’s HY-OPTIMA™ 5000 - and Icon’s easy-to-use touch screen interface to create a unique and reliable measuring instrument. Packaged in Icon’s recognisable explosion-proof enclosure, the release of this analyser means that the latest hydrogen sensor will be able to be used in harsh, industrial, and remote environments.

To find out more, visit Icon Regional Manager Dr David Fairclough at ADIPEC 2023. He will be attending alongside our local partner, Analytical Instrumentation Maintenance Systems (AIMS), and can be found at Stall 1114, in Hall 1.
